Lord Hanuman and 14 mukhi Rudraksha:

Lord Hanuman is an Avatar of Lord Shiva. His birth was for the sole purpose of aiding good people while destroying evil. Lord Surya is his Guru and he was blessed by all the Gods. Lord Hanuman fought on Lord Rama’s side. He helped Lord Rama fight the war against the mighty Ravana to get back Sita Devi. Lord Hanuman flew across the mighty ocean to find Devi Sita. He set Lanka on fire before leaving to inform Lord Rama. He brought the Sanjeevini herb to revive Lakshman when he was fatally injured. Lord Hanuman was devoted to Lord Ram. So intense was his dedication that no evil power could even touch Hanuman.

Lord Hanuman supported Lord Rama throughout battle. He supported Lord Rama in his battle to reclaim Sita Devi from the powerful Ravana. To locate Devi Sita, Lord Hanuman travelled across the vast ocean. Before departing to notify Lord Rama, he set fire to Lanka. He brought the Sanjeevini herb when Lakshman was hurt fatally and needed it to be revived. Lord Ram has the devotion of Lord Hanuman. Hanuman’s devotion was so fervent that no bad force could even approach him.

Lord Hanuman can negate the malefic effects of both Mars and Saturn. Thus the 14 mukhi is the only bead that simultaneously nullifies the malefic effect of both these planets. The 14 mukhi confer the blessing of Lord Mahadev as well as Lord Hanuman who himself is blessed by all the Devatas. These energies bless the 14 mukhi thereby granting it the status of the Devamani in the world of Rudraksha.

The harmful effects of both Mars and Saturn can be countered by Lord Hanuman. The only bead that simultaneously cancels out both of these planets’ negative effects is the 14 mukhi. These forces bestow their blessings on the 14 mukhi, elevating it to the rank of Devamani in the Rudraksha universe.

Important Note :

Note that the third eye / Ajna Chakra in the human body is denoted by two petals containing Beeja (seed) Mantras viz, the right and the left petals corresponds with the “Ham” and Ksham” respectively. In the centre of these petals is the “Om” Beeja Mantra that denotes the infinite energy of Lord Shiva. Thus the 14 mukhi encases the power of Lord Shiva, which can develop the higher mind and intuition.

Remember that the right and left petals of the flower, which correlate to the “Ham” and “Ksham,” respectively, represent the third eye or Ajna Chakra in the human body. The “Om” Beeja Mantra, which symbolises Lord Shiva’s limitless energy, is located in the centre of each of these petals. Thus, Lord Shiva’s potency, which can enhance intuition and the higher intellect, is contained inside the 14 mukhi.
